The independence movement
against Japanese rule varied in many forms and sizes by
the year 1900. Members of the Korean resistance based in
Manchuria and Siberia waged underground war to counterattack
against Japanese brutalities. Using organized strategies,
Korean resistant members won unprecedented victories in
Manchurian Bongodong and Cheongsal-ri independence wars.
The Independence Army of the Korean provisional government
and thousands of unsung patriots sacrificed themselves fearlessly.
In the
fifth Exhibition Hall you can view different kinds of materials, miniatures and
images about the armed resistance movement in Manchuria and other areas against
Japan.
